User Interface and User Experience are two unseparated things. User Interface is product visualization that bridges the product’s system and users. On the other side, User Experience is how the user interacts with the product. Hence, UI/UX Design is how we can visualize the product with user interaction as the reference.

Moreover, to create a User-Friendly Design to fulfill the ideal UI/UX Design requirements, we should know every basic technique and tool. But, fortunately, you should not. Some essential hacks could boost your design to be more user-friendly!

First, Streamline the User Experience

User Experience Design

As mentioned before, we create a UI/UX Design. There is UX in it, and we have to pay attention to it. UX is about how the user interacts. Hence, we have to know how the user interacts and then streamline the design with the user’s interaction. To get the data, it’s essential to define the measurements, measure, and learn from the data. After learning from the data, we could create a User-Friendly Design streamlined with the User Experience.

Make your Call-To-Action, Standout!

As it stands, Call-To-Action buttons are meant to be a standout. If it doesn’t stand out, it’s not a proper Call-To-Action. Make it simpler, make it obvious, and don’t make it look like looking for a needle in a haystack. You can make it visually more prevalent than the negative one by adding the background color or not. It’s your choice. Make sure it’s more general than the negative one.

Background Color for Buttons, is it necessary?

If we said that, we have to make Call-To-Action buttons stand out. Then we agreed that we have to make it different and obvious rather than other elements. But, it’s not mandatory to add background color for the button. Not every controller needs a background color. Hence, you can just create a no-fill button and vice versa. Just stick with the previous hack and justify it with this point.

Responsive, because the user is a human

Every interaction has to be humanized. Humans are dynamics. Thus, as UI/UX designers, we have to create a responsive design that could match every device possible to access it. Because humans are Human. Humans are dynamics.

We don’t like pimples. So, be simple.

The majority said simplicity is a new luxury nowadays. A simple design makes it more functional rather than a complex structure. Simple design makes it more accessible rather than intricate design. And Simple design is very compatible with UI/UX Design. Because UI/UX Design tends to focus more on functionality than the aesthetic aspect.

Last but not least, Key Visual.

Have you seen Nike? Have you seen Gojek? We would like to recommend you observe. Do they have similar patterns of design? Are they consistent with their elements of design? We could guarantee that they do, and they are! Key Visual is identical to the logo, but it has differences. Key Visual is not only built for brand identity. But Key visuals also function for storytelling. That’s why Key Visual design feels more dynamic than a logo. And that’s why Key Visual is important; because Key Visual could be our brand identity. Key Visual makes you stand out amongst others. To formulate Key Visual, you have to know your brand and create a mood board that can group figures, text, or other necessary elements.

In conclusion, these five hacks will lead you to other hacks that you could explore within the deep sea of the internet. But don’t worry, these five hacks are fundamentals, and you will be more curious about learning UI/UX Design after reading this insightful article.
